Paver Sealing Warranty:

American Washing, LLC proudly offers a two-year warranty on all residential applications using Trident products. This warranty covers defects in material, including cracking, peeling, or turning yellow.
Please note that the warranty is VOID if the pavers have been previously sealed, and American Washing, LLC will not be stripping the existing sealer. This warranty does not cover damages resulting from the failure of any prior coating, sealer, or issues related to the substratum, nor does it cover damages caused by customer abuse or neglect. Customers will be responsible for any labor and material costs associated with warranty claims that do not involve failed sealer.

American Washing, LLC acknowledges that natural erosion may occur due to various abnormal conditions. Factors such as high traffic volume, excessive UV exposure, unpredictable weather conditions, and the management of rainwater from sources like, pool care, garden hoses, and downspouts can contribute to joint sand washout. We encourage homeowners to consider these elements when evaluating the longevity of our services. Thank you for your understanding of how we are not responsible for these issues.
At American Washing, we want our customers to understand that the effectiveness of our sealing service is directly linked to the quality and condition of the bricks being treated. While we strive to remove as many stains as possible using our industry-leading cleaning chemicals and commercial-grade equipment, we cannot guarantee the complete removal of all stains prior to application. Certain stains, including paint, oils, and efflorescence, may be deeply embedded in the brick's pores, making total removal unfeasible without risking damage to the brick's delicate patina.

Efflorescence is NOT covered by this warranty. What is Efflorescence?
Efflorescence is a common issue characterized by white, gritty salt deposits that appear on surfaces such as brick, concrete, and stucco. This phenomenon arises from chemical reactions and moisture-related weathering, often exacerbated by improper drainage. While natural weathering can typically resolve efflorescence over time, particularly with the aid of hot, acidic rains and ample sunshine, areas with poor drainage may require additional maintenance. In such cases, dry scrubbing and specialized cleaning agents may be necessary to manage the buildup effectively. Sealing pavers is effective in reducing water infiltration into the hardscape; however, it doesn’t stop soluble salts from rising to the surface due to moisture. To truly eliminate efflorescence, it is crucial to address the drainage issues and minimize the consistent introduction of water to the area. This responsibility lies outside the scope of American Washing.
While we take extensive measures to prevent mold, weeds, and insect intrusion, we cannot guarantee the surface of these items. If complete weed growth is noticeable in all joints within the first six months, it would be classified as a failed sealer issue. It's important to note that “weed patches” are often found in moist areas and can be addressed during the annual cleaning, which will be at the customer's expense.

At American Washing, LLC, we understand that each paver has a unique porous level, which can affect the final appearance after sealing. We apply a single flood coat of Trident sealer followed by a second top coat for enhanced UV protection and added sheen. However, due to the varying surface conditions of pavers, we cannot guarantee a high shine, as it ultimately depends on the specific paver type. Additionally, the longevity of the sealer is influenced by factors such as condition, quality, and maintenance, so no claims are made regarding its durability.

At American Washing, LLC, we want to ensure your hardscapes remain safe and visually appealing. Please be aware that certain sealers can make surfaces slippery, and we cannot accept liability for this. We do offer options to add texture and grip at an additional cost when you purchase sealing services. While we take every precaution seriously to enhance safety, we cannot guarantee complete coverage due to the invisible nature of the grip product. Your family's safety is our priority.
